Canadian Bar Association - BC Branch Speaker's Bureau Supplies community groups with names of lawyers to speak on topics of law and the justice system.

Canadian Centre for Policy Alternatives -Speakers Bureau The Canadian Centre for Policy Alternatives' British Columbia, SaskatchewanManitoba, and Nova Scotia offices all provide lists of research associates, many of whom are available to give talks or provide media commentary.

Canadian Intellectual Property Office - Bank of Speakers This initiative is targeted to public and private sector organizations, including business service centres, professional associations, colleges, universities and libraries, who would like to organize workshops to raise awareness of the importance and strategic value of IP (intellectual property).

CLIA of PEI - Speakers' Bureau The association provides speakers for meetings, schools and events. It helps to organize law courses in Community Schools. CLIA relies on the volunteer efforts of the legal profession, courthouse and government personnel, and knowledgeable lay people.

Community Legal Education Association of Manitoba - Publications Community Legal Education Association is a not-for-profit organization, which provides Manitobans with information about the law through several services. We have existed since 1984 and we believe that law belongs to people - you have a right to know your rights. The Association offers a variety of community programs one of which is the School's Program (Speakers in the Classroom, Youth Criminal Justice Act Teaching Kit and Mock Trial Kits). You can order pamphlets, booklets, and education kits on legal topics from the Association.

Community Safety Speakers Bureau The Community Safety Speakers Bureau is an outreach service of the Atlantic Coordinating Committee on Crime Prevention and Community Safety. They provide access to a wide range of speakers with knowledge and expertise in community safety and crime prevention.

Correctional Services Canada - Speakers Bureau Is your organization looking for a guest speaker? CSC has many qualified speakers available to speak on a variety of topics including women in conflict with the law, parole decision making, and restorative justice.

Justice Education Speakers Centre Alberta’s Justice Speakers Centre can help you book a Crown prosecutor, a judge, civil and constitutional lawyers, various department professionals, the Solicitor General of Alberta, or the Minister of Justice and Attorney General to speak with your class.

Law Centre Speakers Bureau The Law Centre operates a Speakers Bureau. The Law Centre invites requests for speakers to address community groups about legal matters. The Law Centre maintains a list of lawyers who are prepared to address community groups free of charge and would be pleased to arrange a speaker for your group.

Legal Information Society of Nova Scotia - Speakers Bureau Clubs, church groups, teachers, community groups and special interest groups can get a list of speakers willing to volunteer their time to speak on a specific area of law. Our Speakers Bureau includes lawyers, judges and other professionals.

PLEIS - New Brunswick Speakers' Bureau This service matches legal experts and others willing to speak on a volunteer basis, with the media or with community groups who want information on law-related topics. Legal professionals, educators, and government personnel participate in PLEIS-NB's Speakers' Bureau. The public is asked to contact PLEIS-NB at least 2 weeks prior to the event.


Psychiatric Patient Advocate Office (Ontario) - Speakers' Bureau The Psychiatric Patient Advocate Office (PPAO) will provide speakers on a variety of law related topics such as: rights advice, advocacy issues, consent and capacity, legal issues in mental health. Other topics available on request. 

Public Lectures - Student Legal Services Student Legal Services of Edmonton offers public lectures to: Junior High School classes; Senior High School classes; interested community groups; employees at community organizations; and clients of community organizations on a variety of  legal topics.

Respect in Action: Youth Preventing Violence (ReAct) Respect in Action: Youth Preventing Violence (ReAct), formerly known as the Young Women's Anti-Violence Speakers Bureau) is a unique peer education program. It's made of dynamic, diverse youth who facilitate interactive, peer-to-peer workshops on violence against women and youth. Our workshops raise awareness, foster discussion, and introduce existing community resources to challenge diverse youth and inspire them to prevent violence in their lives.

School Law (PLEA) School Law is an initiative of the Public Legal Education Association of Saskatchewan ( PLEA ), The Law Society of Saskatchewan, the Canadian Bar Association (Saskatchewan Branch) and the Courts Communication Office, which puts volunteer lawyers and judges into classrooms to speak on a variety of topics.

Speakers Bureau (CLEA) The Community Legal Education Association (Manitoba) operates a Speakers Bureau of volunteer lawyers who give us their time each year to provide legal information sessions to the community on request. The service is free to community groups and agencies.

Speakers Bureau (Department of Justice) The Bureau provides its services across Canada to promote awareness and understanding of justice issues. It's services include informative and engaging presentations, speeches and panel discussions, which are offered in both official languages in a format to suit requirements.

Sterling International Speakers Bureau - Law Enforcement Sterling International Speakers Bureau is an American company dedicated in providing meeting planners, corporations, associations, and educational institutions with the best service and professional speakers available.

UVic Speakers Bureau The UVic Speakers Bureau is a community service provided by volunteer speakers from among the faculty, staff and graduate students who teach, conduct research, study and work at the University of Victoria. Also included are a number of retired faculty and staff. Through the Bureau, experts from UVic are made available to speak to community groups, schools, clubs and other organizations throughout Greater Victoria and southern Vancouver Island. The service is free (although travel expenses may be requested to some locations).

Youth and Schools (Public Legal Education Association of Saskatchewan) PLEA offers a wide range of resources for teaching law in the classroom, such as lesson plans,  instruction guides, mock trial kits and publications.
