Many Canadian municipalities provide online access to either all or some of their bylaws. This section provides access to provincial lists of municipalities. To access specific municipality bylaws, go to the appropriate provincial section and then to that municipality's website.

The links to government websites provided below can often change. If the link appears to be broken, please contact us and we will fix the link as soon as possible.

Alberta
Municipal Profiles (Alberta)
The Municipal Profiles are from Alberta Municipal Affairs and contain a compilation of statistical, financial, and other information about municipalities in the Province of Alberta. The information is based on data made available to and reports submitted to Alberta Municipal Affairs. The Ministry is not responsible for the accuracy of the information. Users are encouraged to verify the accuracy of the information contained in the Municipal Profiles before relying on it. Select a municipality from the list and then click on the "Contacts" icon to get access to that municipality's website.

British Columbia
The Union of British Columbia Municipalities (UBCM)
The UBCM was formed to provide a common voice for local government in British Columbia. It provides an opportunity for local governments of all sizes and from all areas of the province to come together, share their experiences and take a united position.

Manitoba
Association of Manitoba Municipalities (AMM) - Directory of Members
From the Association of Manitoba Municipalities, this directory allows you to select a Manitoban municipality from the list and then click the link to the municipality's website for to access their bylaws.

New Brunswick
New Brunswick -- Municipal Information
A complete list of New Brunswick Municipalities and Rural Communities is provided and includes basic contact information and links to individual websites where available.

Newfoundland Labrador
Newfoundland and Labrador -- Municipal Information
Search the municipal listing on the Municipalities Newfoundland and Labrador website and link to the municipality's website where available.

Northwest Territories
Northwest Territories -- Municipal Information
The Municipal and Community Affairs Community Contacts Listing database is of elected community officials and leadership responsible for community government. There are also website links where available.

Nova Scotia

A list of municipal website links from Service Nova Scotia and Municipal Relations.

Ontario

Click on one of the Ontario Regional Area Municipal Portals and then use the Municipal Search tool to find a specific municipality and that municipality's website.

Saskatchewan
ComMuniLink - Saskatchewan's Municipal Information Network
ComMuniLink is a site provided to facilitate communication for the local government sector in Saskatchewan. The local government sector includes municipal administrators, clerks, staff and council members, as well as the staff from municipal associations and the Ministry of Municipal Affairs.
