The Law Societies in each province provide advice on working with your lawyer, and handle concerns that you may have.

Federation of Law Societies of Canada The Federation of Law Societies of Canada is the umbrella organization of thirteen Law Societies in Canada. Each law society governs the legal profession within their respective province or territory.

Law Society of Alberta The Law Society of Alberta's principal duty is to serve and protect the public interest. It is a self-governing society, deriving authority from the Legal Profession Act of Alberta.
