Addressing Violence Perpetrated Against Aboriginal Women in Alberta This online resource is written by Sandra Lambertus, Ph.D (2007) as part of Project Lifeline. The goal of this comprehensive study is to deepen the understanding of the victimization and awareness of the services that provide assistance to Aboriginal women in Alberta. This study incorporates recent statistics on victimization, women’s shelters, homelessness, and a court diversion project as a backdrop to interviews with Aboriginal women victims, police officers, Victim Services workers, as well as shelter and program staff throughout the province.
